What that covers

All photographs, images and visual content on this site are original work and are protected by copyright. No part of them may be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed, published, broadcast, or used in any form or by any means — electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise — without prior explicit written permission.

That applies equally to the gallery captures, the photographs illustrating the field notes, and the thumbnails and full-size files behind them.

Linking to a page here is always welcome and needs no permission.

Asking about a use

Permission is often given, and usually quickly. It just has to be asked for first. For permissions or enquiries, contact support@chryse.co.uk, saying which image you mean and where it would appear.

The HTML, CSS and JavaScript behind the site are provided for personal, non-commercial reference only, and may not be redistributed or reused without permission. The full terms are in the repository’s LICENSE file, which this page restates.
